Star Wars Canyon

~A trailhead, dusk shot at the Valley of Fire, Nevada. The colors, atmosphere, and mood reminded me of something out of George Lucas' Star Wars world.

Thank you for the comments, views and faves! The Valley of Fire is an amazing place. In my experiences though, the best times of the day to capture the deep, red, and fiery colors of the rocks are just before the sun comes up and just before the sun goes down unless it is grey and overcast. Having a neutral density filter (graduated or not) helps a lot too. During the summer months bring sun-block and blistex. For the winter dress for warmth and have sun-block and blistex on hand as well.
