I like photography because it is a visual form of a literary work.  When I brainstorm of something I want to photograph; it is usually a subject that I have been thinking about for some amount of time, or an inspiration from another photograph or event.  Hearing the sound of the shutter click is knowing that the first half of this two part craft has been realised. It is always a beautiful feeling for me to see a sliver of the world, how I saw it with my eyes, and an even amazing and emotional feeling conveying that vision with my mind.  It is funny because one of my all time academic weaknesses has always been with writing essays, especially

Mea Culpa

"My  fault"...a ceaseless and overwhelming feeling sometimes; like getting hit with an aluminum baseball bat where the pain is not as bad as the deafening, psychological ringing sensation that reverberates up and down your spinal column and into the deepest crevices of your endocrine system.  The only good thing I can see about blaming ones' self is that we are conscious of our actions; holding ourselves to some degree of accountability.
